Sniperdad, now that pistol just needs a good fence post to rest on when you take the shot.I like it.

600 fpe?? What caliber, velocity, and projectile weight? I like it. I think a Crosman 1399 stock would be sweet, but then you wouldn't have the nice wood grips.

I thought that it would give me less distance to shoot, The Muzzle is 5 Ft in front of my nose with both arms extended.
It also has a lot less Muzzle Flip than the 12" barrel, LOL.

WOW!!!!! I want you to power tune a few of mine. My .45 cal 909 would be awesome with that kind of work. I shudder to think what you could do for my .22 cal B50. You sir are amazing. Not only do you have a magic wood rasp, you also have a magic Dremel, too.
I think a stock like the walnut or cherry crosman stocks you made would be sweet on this one. It would make a NICE carbine.
What pellets/bullets are you using in it? I cast several different .50 caliber projectiles for my muzzle loaders. Maybe you want some Lee REAL bullets, or some T/C Maxi-Hunters. Still working on getting my improved Minie mold to throw drop perfect Minies.

What are you looking to get out of your B-50?

I am shooting a couple different bullets, depending on the configuration of the pistol.

For up close and personal. I have loaded 4x 183gr. Round Balls, for a 2" patters from 10 yards, with the 12" barrel, LOL.
For the longer shots I have a 25" barrel that likes the 458gr. Kegs that I got from "J".
The set up posted above shot a new style 275gr. Barrel bullet at over 1000 fps.

The Barrels are .495, I got some Maxi ball bullets buththey need sizing down.

Cheers, David.

The Maxis I cast are the hollow point hunter version.  I like the fact that the Maxis have such wide lube grooves. I wonder if Lyman makes a .495 bullet sizing die.
I'd like to get 1000 feet per second with the .22 cal 28.4 grain Eun Jin pellets out of my B50. Or at least get 1,000 feet per second with .22 cal Beeman Crow Mags. 1,000 fps with Eun Jins would be really nice, though. I bought it to be a hunter, not a plinker, so I'm not interested in getting 40-50 full power shots per fill. All I care about is power and accuracy.I'd rebarrel it to .25 cal if I could legally hunt with that caliber in my  state, but I can't.
Yeah, I think 65 fpe with a 10 shot string at full power would make me very happy.

400-450 fpe from my .45 cal 909 light hunter would make me giggle like a schoolgirl, too.
