wow that was one lucky man .that bear would of ate him up...a 454 casull took him down but that man had quick instincts cause he didnt see him coming at all 20 yards isnt enough time to aim a rifle so hes lucky he had that revolver...

wow thats close call. He can be glad that he had that gun on him.. Even a 44mag would have took more then 1 shot...just 1 of the few reason why i like living were i do.. no bears.. except the ocassional 120lb black bear that gets lost and wanders around for a few day before the fish and game people trap and relocate

by the time that bear got to me, i would have been shooting down at a 60degree angle, because i would have been standing on a 8 foot pile of crap! man i would have had a heart attack so fast, that i would have had rigormortis by the time he reached me. yikes he shouldn't have to do any cardio at the gym because his heart had to  be going at least 250 beats a minute.
