Rim fire ammo in stock at good price
« on: August 18, 2009, 01:36:08 PM »
Any of you rimfire shooters -- Natchez Shooters Supply just got in a big batch of the Aguila .22 ammo in all flavors.  Pretty good price on the 40 gr match rifle and match pistol 22LR if you need any real bullets.

Thanx for the heads up, but I dunno how you can afford to buy that ammo offline, walmart is so much cheaper!!!  for $15.00 fo 550rds, for Federal, winchester, or remmington high velocity rounds.

Yes, God help me, yes.  But the Wolf Match Target .22 shoots 1/2 in groups at 50 yards in either my Browning A-bolt or Ruger 10/22.  CCI MiniMags, Rem, Federal Lightining, Winchester, and the other bargain stuff I also shoot will do no better than around 1 in groups at best and usually more like 1.5 to 2 inch groups.  I would never have believed it, but I tried a brick of the Wolf MT just because a lot of folks on RimFireCentral speak highly of it.  They were right.  Not that I intend to compete in any formal matches, but it is a lot more fun to shoot when I can shoot very accurately.  And the difference in cost -- what 3 or 4 cents per round? -- is a luxury I am willing to afford, I suppose.

My sickness is so advanced now, I am beginning to shop on line for something like this instead of my next air rifle.  I am powerless, I guess.

If you have to go the Walmart three days a week before noon and hope you hit it right to buy it (as it seems here in Texas), I don't care if they are giving it away, I'll buy online.

Roy Roger's dog, for one. (LOL)
Match-grade, rimfire cartridges for small caliber firearms was what I meant to say.

Hilario:

Thanks for the tip!  I am set for a while on the .22LR, but I did take the opportunity to re-visit their site.  They have small rifle primers in stock!!
