I am in agreement with Bill, except the barrel is not all that heavy because of lack of steel. Just a rifled thin tube covered in Poly. Not like the older Gamo's which utilized the full steel barrel. These new barrels have tendency to bend easily. The poly breech is not the perfect setup for a break barrel in my opinion either. But if maintained properly and not abused they can be very good shooters. I would prefer an all steel rifled barrel on this new model..
