Marauder .22 and Career Dragon Slayer .50
« on: August 27, 2009, 10:05:29 AM »
Bought a Marauder when they first came out, have #12. Love it, love it!! Now I'm buying a Career Dragon Slayer .50. Two questions. First, is there an exploded view of the Career and who would you send it to for anything?? Second, I have the AV/Stationhose from Pyramyd for the Marauder, will it hook right up to the Career?? Thanks everyone, pretty new to PCP. But they have changed how I think about airguns!! Have a great evening - Lee

Hi Gene, there has to be someone who works on these guns. Wasn't there someone named Lil Bob?? I thought he did big bore tunes. I still hoping someone will chime in with some ideas of who has this info. Thanks Gene and have a great evening.

Lee,,, maybe you mean "Big Bore Bob"?? (Bob Dean)He tuned my Dragon to 300 ft lbs.The Dragon is an amazing gun with LOADS of potential. My Buddy J Woodcock is working on mine again now,,, he is "shooting" for 400-500 ft lbs. I think that many here that know J including Gene & "Mr Bob" (CDT) will agree,,, J can do it!!Shoot me a PM & I will get you in touch with some folks that can help Ya out. Congrats on the new shooter Lee,, your gonna love it!! Tim. AKA "Dragon Slayer" from the old days.

Hi Timmy, thanks for your input. What has been/is being done to your Career?? With 400-500fpe, what are the pros of it?? I do think the fps could use some help. Does that come also w/ the 400-500fpe?? What are you using for a scope?? I love my Marauder .22, it is an awesome gun. I am hoping the Career will hook right up to the set-up I have for the Marauder. It is the AV/Stationhose from Pyramyd and a 80cf scuba tank. LOVE IT!!! Fills in seconds with no sweat equity!! I have been hitting a target consistently at 125 yards with it. Quite a bit of drop, but with a mildot, no problem. I do hope you can answer some of my questions and get me up and running with it quickly. What are you using for ammo with thew Career?? Thanks again Timmy and if you think there is something else I should know right away, I'd appreciate it. Have a great day - Lee

I'd like to get a Marauder and a Dragon Slayer to go with my B50 and 909 Light Hunter. J really got me thinking that a 20 gauge barrel and a power tune would be sweet on the Dragon. I'll have to sell a few to get them, though. Especially the Dragon.
