Parts for Gamo Hunter Tune -- which/where?

Would like to try my hand at tuning my Hunter Pro (177) .. its been busting a few scopes
(see: Which Fixed Mag? in Scope Gate) --

can anyone lend some insight into what, exactly, might be the cause of the rough operation
(that might be break'n all these scopes).

Which parts I might need and where to get them?
