I thought that the fort looked real familiar. Fort Clinch on Amelia Island, Florida. I lived on the island for many years and still own a condo on Tarpon Ave. It will be sold after Labor Day. Have not had the time to go there lately though. I have interests in St. Augustine now that take up more of my free time. At one time I had picked up a 5 gallon bucket of sharks teeth. When you live there you get to the point that if the teeth you find are not of good size and nearly perfect you give them away. Best time to find shark teeth is after a storm or while dredge fill is being pumped on the beaches.
The sunsets there can be quite beautiful. And I did alot of deep sea fishing while living there. Sometimes 3 or 4 times per week. Except for work it was paradise for me.
BTW, do you llive in that area?
