No pity for the sights!!! I knew the downside of selling off the P3.
I think I may make a comeback with the 1377 of all things. May need a lighter trigger spring first though.
Or maybe just break down and take the scope off the 2300, well... maybe nothing that drastic.

Hey JQR, with the 1377, just open up the pistol grip (Right side) and remove the big spring (Trigger sear spring) and squish it down abit....about 2mm and the trigger pull would be lighter.  I did that.....and what a huge improvement.  IMPORTANT: PUT THE SAFETY "OFF SAFE" BEFORE REMOVING THE PLATE THAT COVERS THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY, THERE'S A VERY SMALL BALL BEARING THAT'S UNDER PRESSURE FROM A VERY SMALL SPRING INSIDE.....IF THAT BALL BEARING POPS OUT, YOU'LL HAVE A HARD TIME PUTTING IT BACK IN......THAT IS IF YOU CAN FIND THAT FLYING BALL BEARING!!!!!    Go check out Charlie Da Tuna's webpage......he have an excellent description on how to remove the sear of the 1377 (He used to make a better sear for the 1377).  Btw, I didn't even need to remove that plate.....I just pressed and leaned the big spring sideways and it popped out.....after squishing it abit (And lengthening it abit because I over squeezed it (Sear would not engage)....I put it back in.

I know (and crawled around the floor many time looking for) that spring and ball bearing :-)

I replaced the trigger and springs on my 2400 and 2300 with great success (except for chasing the saftey bits). Used the TKO kit - very nice. Considering doing the same on this. I might just try the stock spring from the 2400 first. It's a different wire though, might not be strong enough. The TKO kit is worth the $32 to me (if it works on the 1377) but gotta save my pennies - I just picked up the MO that will be a deposit on something a little more expensive as soon as i drop it in the mail... but it's not something that will help me in this match...  I'm reserving an Edgun Matador

When it comes in we'll have to do a 100yard match if it lives up to peoples bragging.
