What an opportunity.  If I still had kids in school, I would surely have them stay home on Sep. 8th.  Call in sick (sick of . . . )
I surely wouldn't want this guy making a special address to my young children.  What's up with that?  When did Presidential politics extend to pre-school?
I wish to heck that they would spend the time teaching kids about the Constitution and the way government is supposed to work instead of exposing them to the general platitudes and propaganda BO will be spewing to pre-K thru 6 graders.
I wonder if other parents will share this opinion.

I feel like we ( the nation ) have  fallen down the rabbit hole with Alice since January 09.  And we don't have one Mad Hatter running the party but many.

What about when Bush was reading stories to the little ones on 9-11-01? The press seemed to think that was a bad thing for the Pres to do.
At least those fairy tales weren't being passed off as truth

If kids were actually being taught what they need to know, Obama would have no power over them. ;)

Bush -- one classroom full of kids, and not, seemingly a nationally orchestrated political event.

BO's approval is tanking.  With all due respect, he needs to talk w/ adult voters and answer some tough questions with some specific policy stands, not have a "media event" for the kiddies who probably don't know enough to be critical and ask some tough questions.  No, this is staged so the press can fawn over his father-like presence and his show of care and concern for the kids in a national media event.  Yuck.  Wonder if he will use the tele-prompter?

If ADULTS had been taught what they need to know ....

C'mon, how politically savvy is a pre-K toddler?!

This is all about BO, not kids.  Narcissistic socialist!  Keep way from my kids, please.

Definitely a day to keep the kids home, ... to benefit the kids, and send BO a message. Who was it that said something about - "He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future." ...Adolf Hitler

BO is grabbing at straws here. The Adults now are seeing through him more each day so he is turning to our children to get back his numbers.. Watch ABC, NBC and the other's start putting up polls on his popularity with the young Americans now..

I wonder if Bo can put God back in the schools?

That's one of many reasons why my kids are home schooled by a loving wife and mother.

Same tactics used in the past by every despot that has come along. When will the children be encouraged to inform on thier family and friends?  Maybe the reward will be an I-Pod?   Think  Stalin,  Hitler ,  Hugo Chavez,  Castro , Mao, and what makes this more disturbing is that the Liberals of this country embrace these individuals.
