Ruger Airhawk $69

Hello to all as I am a new member today.  I bought the airhawk from Cabela's B4 I ever read these posts becuz for $75 bucks shipped how can ya go wrong.  Well I got mine Last Friday and just now having some time to czechn it out.  The stock looks about the same as the one posted by Schmidty25 but no matter I'll also refinish it sometime later.  Who ever put this AirHawk together was real lazy or?.  the two forend screws that attach the barrel tube were not even tighten, glad I czeched.  The trigger screw was real tight and the trigger wood screw was ok with a plastic trigger guard.  All in all I am very pleased with this air rifle really like the trigger pull and only need to clean-up the bore and czech for burrs on the crown.  For $75 I am happy and should be a cood cheep shooter.  I reccomend buying one at this price....so long for now.

Hey SDale.  It's a  C&R Military rifle thing.   American=check, European type Czech.
I'll never be the same.  Have  been collecting too long hee hee.  I see I not far (San Diego) from you..

Ah! Gotcha! I know whatcha mean! I got my C&R a couple years ago and will NEVER look back!

Got any 6.5x55 Swede Mauser's, M44 Mossin Nagant's or  C&R SKS's you're lookin to unload? hehe

Well I'm still at battle with mine.  Today I took it totally apart again.  I went and got some LockTite and some Bore Cleaner to see if I can improve it.  Right now a beer can feels safe in front of it

We'll see how it does after all that.  I"ve also found some rough spots that need filing down, so I'll do that while it is apart.  I don't have the stuff to compress the spring and take it down that far.

Hey Sam, The answer is Nope! on the first two.  I sold all I had 4-5 years ago.  Got a sweet Sweed 6.5x55 and she shoots to good to let her go.  I'll  probably be buried with her and my other sweet ladies hee hee.  Yeah right.  BTW when my wife found out I had another thing coming for my collection she did her usual thing (I thought you said you were not going to buy anymore Milsurps rag, rag, RAG.  I explained it was an air rifle and it didn't matter to her.  Womem just don't understand a man ............too bad.
