Dark Side or not ???
« on: February 27, 2007, 06:20:35 PM »
Hi Brothers of the Gate,

I promised my self I would not buy any pellet guns until I went back to work (money is running low). So far, I haven’t clicked an order button on a pellet gun in a month. See guys it can be done, it's hard, but do-a-ble. :D

Now for the truth. I found my self  in Wal Mart the other day over in the sporting goods. Nope, no $74 dollar shadows. When I got home, I found a Ruger 10/22 in my shopping bag. How it got there I don’t remember. The last thing I remember is looking at air rifles.

I know buying a PCP pellet thrower is a force on the “dark side”, but what force is it when a powder burner shows up in your house?

Shadow  â€“ not for sure if even a .22 rimfire would take down a Texas size Armadillos. Always used my truck.  :o

Hehe Glen, so I gess I better order a mount kit for the scope that I'll be mounting on my 4x4. :D Isn't funny how one can walk into a sporting good's store, telling themselve's " I'm not going to buy anything" then walk out with a cart full. :)  It's ok, the ladies do the same thing. My wife is a perfect example hehe. All is fair in love and airguns. 8)  Ed

I have me a lil ruger 22... Laminatedstock, all stainless and a stainless 3-9 scope :)

Guns sweeet. Only gripe I have is the trigger.. way to much pull and creep. But that could probably be fixed with a good deep cleaning.

I got the stainless one also with a wood stock. I put a 3-12AO scope on it. It's a sweet shooter.

I'm not picky about triggers, but I do like a sweet trigger when I come across one.

The way it eats up ammo, I'm going to have to get a second job. I don't want my new baby crying because it's hungy. :D
