Gene buddy,

I corrected your score, it's 190-3X ! Your gonna have to start weighing your pellets buddy, and don't forget to set up a couple wind-age flags, unless you can read the wind speed from watching the blades of grass ! Just a tissue on a stick at the target and another half way between.

With ALL them pretty babies, I know that you can beat my old Beeman R-9 in .20 cal !!!

Just saw a couple of the guys above have the same score this week: 190 3X's.........impressive!!!!

My scores' are not that high......but I'm very satisfied with it...... 4X's.......I think that's the first time I got 4X's in ANY match. No wind and front bag rested really helps!!!!!!

Thanks Bill, I never did get above a "D" in math..:) I am going into town this morning and get a couple small US Flags to put up on top my big shooting stand on the tree stump..:) I normally check the wind with a wet finger...:) Looks like I am hooked on shooting thesetarget shooting match'snow and it is allot of fun.

LOL

I unofficially shot a 190, ?X with the AA Prosport .22 & Beeman FTS pellets, but I didn't take a  pic and wasn't going to post the score -- I figured most of your serious competitors would easily outshoot that.  You should know that my new dog, Annie, now considers any trip I make to the back yard with an air rifle to also be her "special time" with me.  So now, when I shoot from my bench, I am quite literally shooting one shot, then throwing her ball for her to fetch, then shooting one shot, etc. etc..  But if I don't give her equal time, she gets anxious and starts dropping the ball in my lap  and nudging me insistently, instead of dropping it at my feet and sitting patiently, waiting for me to finish my next shot. , That can be a bit distracting when I am trying to post a score, but puppies must have their full share of attention, it seems.

Go ahead and post your target sheet TCups......that's a very very good score.  Who cares if you took more time between shots.....it's all friendly here, plus your doggie needs attention and play time.

The talk in one of the other matches on posting your 'bad' score convinced me to go ahead an post this. I mentioned last week that I probably wouldn't be shooting this one for a while. What I should have said was that I wasn't planning on posting any targets until I got good enough with either the Nitro or another srpinger to be somewhat compaetitive.  Well the HW97k is sold and I still have the Nitro and this was all I could manage with it. Have to say though - I'm getting better and even this is good enough to make me smile while plinking. Just not a target rifle in my hands (yet).

 Weapon:   Crosman Nitro 3-9x40 Centerpoint
Pellet:   JSB 18.1 .22
Dist/Pos:   30y / Bench / Front Rest
Score   139
