I just bought this gun from danoInTx. I hate to piggyback on his sales, but it's just one of those things.
After shaking it down and comparing it with my other rifles (Daisy 853 w/sear from CDT, and IZH-61 I tuned myself), I have decided that shooting a scope on a CO2 gun is not my style. I'm a service-rifle high-power shooter with a very heavy trigger finger. I bought it for the monthly silhouette matches at my club and decided I'd just stay with the iron sights on my old rifles.
Here's the particulars:
Well-used AR2078 .22 action installed in standard QB-78 stock. QB-78 endcap for use with 12 gram CO2 cartridges only (no bulk fill attachments). Action has been tuned by Mike Melick, according to Dan. Trigger setup is so sweet I couldn't believe it. The slightest squeeze fires the rifle, but you can bang the butt on the floor and it won't fire. Front sight has post installed, no other inserts. You have 2 options on rear sight: none or a scope. Scope rail/sight mounting base (3/8") is already iinstalled on rear of the receiver for mounting scope or rear sight. (Base has a round head screw in it, which I found kind of weird, but I'm selling this thing just as it came to me.)
This thing is awesome both in accuracy and power. My basement range is 43', and I just rested my elbows on me knees and shot half inch groups or better, 5 shots at a time. And that's with wiggling all over the place; every shot was right on call. Running it over the chrony gave 630-640 fps (note that this is a .22) with heavy Meisterkugeln (14 gr) pellets. I believe it has the barrel weight attached, as it is not a lightweight rifle, but I have not taken it apart to verify.
As was told to me: It's not pretty, but it shoots hard and accurate.
I put about 200 rounds through it, and it looks like you get right at 30 shots before you need to change cartridges.
Here's the options. I'm figuring $15 for shipping. All prices include shipping:
Either:
Rifle, as described, $100.
or Rifle with brand new BSA AR 4x32 scope, rings included $160.
In either case, I'll throw in a dozen CO2 cartridges and half a container of Meisterkugeln .22 pellets.
I hope this is phrased well enough, as I'm a new guy here and don't wish to offend anyone, especially Dan who sold me a good rifle at a fair price.
Personal email is the best way to contact, as I'll be in and out this weekend:
