CO2 barrel length
« on: September 10, 2009, 08:23:16 PM »
Hi..What would be the best barrel length to
use with a boss valve ?..18" or 24"

Just ordered a 2240 / RJ long riser breech / B&A  boss valve
need to get the barrel under way..

So I'm hanging out for it all to arrive...

24 inches in .22 and a shimmed factory hammer spring would be the best way to go with the boss valve.

Yup, increase preload just a bit.

I used 2 washers that fit inside the rear tube cap. I believe they were #10. Can't remember. But the total thickness was just a hair over 1/8". I know it doesn't sound like allot, but it made  a BIG difference!
