WTB Crosman Discovery

Hey guys, I have been saving for a while now and I'm ready to get my disco!!!  I know some of the places have been running sales on new guns but I wanted to check here first and see what was out there that might be available from our little community.  I want one with at least stock power (800fps+) in .22 caliber.  Also, if it has an ldc and a good trigger, that's a bonus.  I will want to add a scope for old eyes, so if it already has glass, that is a bonus, too.  My qb has done wonders on the squirrels but I'm ready to try something with a little more oomph! :p

What do you guys think?  Any and all ideas appreciated.  Please email me or pm me.

I have been thinking about buying one also and saw that special in the bargin section.

His other number is out of service. I hope it wasn't too good to be true. I would have bought it for that reguardless.

George at Sunshine can be hard to reach by phone at times but he's legit, I've ordered from him before and didn't have any problems.  A couple of guys recently bought the disco/pump special he's been running and they got their rifles and pumps without problems.....

I concur with Jeff.  Bought a Disco .177 without pump from him recently.  It was delivered in a week in brand new condition.  The high chrony number was 997 fps with CPHPs and with the gamo raptor pellets, it was 1080 fps.  The point is he's a good guy to deal with and I can honestly say I can't be any happier.  Thumbs up for Sunshineairguns.net .

I didn't mean to hog your thread johnnyboy...

I just wanted to comment that most of the good deals I come across turn sour.

I'm glad to hear this guy's legit...

I'll keep trying because it would cost at least that much to mod my RWS 850 to HPA, and

then I'd have to buy something else to shoot in the yard.

No problem.  I'm looking for any and all advice at this stage of the game.  I've got my money saved and I'm ready.  I just don't want to make the wrong decision.  I may not wait much longer and give Sunshine a try.  We'll see.  Anymore ideas, anyone?

If your interested in Sunshine, I wouldn't wait much longer.

I spoke with him yesterday, and he said that they're flying out the door at that price.

I got my Disco from him with no problems.  I'd recommend Sunshine.  I'm so tempted to order a .177 now as well.

Well, just a waiting on the Brown Truck guy to make an appearance sometime later this week.  I made my decision late Saturday afternoon and placed my order with Sunshine for the 177 Disco.  The disco was 155 and the shipping ended up being 20, so I wondered just how much some pellets would add.  I found some CPHs for 22 and the shipping stayed the same!  WHoohoo!  An email from them yesterday said that my order had moved from pending to processing, so I hope soon it is shipped.  Now with some glass from opticsplanet, I should be up and running sometime toward the end of the week.  Man!  And it's only Monday right now!  joe

Well, I talked to George Chavez of Sunshine a few moments ago.  He really seems like a nice guy.  He apologized that the discos ordered over the weekend had not gone out yet.  They were swamped and are just now getting to them; no wonder at that price.  He said they would go out tomorrow.  Yippeeee!  Now if I can only hold on a little longer.LOL  I keep hearing of the good transactions and great guns everyone else has gotten from them and I'm ready to be in the "in crowd!"  joe

Just think,,,,, in a couple of days you'll have that beautiful disco in your hands ready to be pointed at some tree rats  :)

I"m really looking forward to your take on the rifle..... I love mine  :)

Matter of fact earlier today I mailed Mike at TKO my disco fill cap so he could modify it to fit now that my rifle is sporting a TKO Stage V  brake.
