I got a late start and didn't want to risk not being able to shoot after 12 after a long drive.
I'll definitely be there next sunday morning.  I'll have the m-rod then if I can find a way of filling it.

I wasn't there but I spoke with Eric yesterday.  He said you guys were told we shouldn't be shooting on the 50 yard range at all.  Is that true?  Will future shoots be on the 25 yd 'public' range in the middle?  Or was it a misunderstanding?

I believe they were shooting the empty shells as target practice....not shooting powder burners.

Ok..get it now....it appears we only have the range from 8 AM till 12 noon now....I belive a SDPD member must be present for "guests" to shoot there..(guests meaning non-members)....that was my understanding from the begining...

As far as the 50 yard/25 yard question, that may be because of the 12 noon limitation of which was not communucated to me...

We can get all that cleared up next Sunday...btw...plan still is for monthly 25 yard matches with practice sessions on other Sundays...obviously, Howard's interest is  just 25 yard shooting...not 50 yard plinking....but we need to get clarification on the 50 yard question...maybe the two can co-exist.....???

Also,we were originally invited to shoot at the SDPD range by Danny...pretext being conducting "organized" events...
