« on: September 13, 2009, 02:35:04 PM »
There is no wayto mount a scope on my springer.  Can anyone offer advice as to how I could mount one?

No way that I know of unless you use a set of Crosman Intermounts on the barrel and mount the scope scout style.

The only other way that I know of is to weld, solder or braise a steel dovetail onto the reciever tube.

You could get a scope rail in 11 mm for the RWS from Pyramyd Air if that will run to much with the shipping Wal Mart has 2 piece rail mts in 7/8 inch for powder burners you could gut a set of thesis  on the rifle and use 7/8 inch mts. I would probably  take the rifle apart and drill and tap to mt the rail as well as epoxy it too.The extra height for the rail  will help with loading pellets the loading port needs to be clear for your fingers howie

Thanks, all.  Not worth it.  And I don't mind the iron sights at all.
