There realy no adjustment to the Gamo trigger !

You can turn that screw all the way in, and all the way out, but you will still have a lousy trigger.

Now someone else may have tried to "stone down" or "polish"the trigger, to make it better, or you mat not be cocking the rifle all the way each time. This can cause the sear in the trigger to engage to the trigger differently causing light hard pulls.

The only real fix for the Gamo trigger is the GREAT GRT-III trigger, they're GREAT !!!! And I know, I have had one for over three years. Putting it in was like magic, it realy corrected that bad. hard trigger.

Check it out, it will be the best money that you will ever spend on anything ! Because it realy works so well !!!!

Excellent advice, Bill.  Throw that damn Gamo trigger away and get the GRTIII, it's the best investment I ever made in a Gamo.

The problem is the factory trigger!!!!  Plain and simple. Get the GRT-III trigger blade replacement. Best $30 you'll ever invest in that Gamo!!! tjk

another question has come up today. the vertical line in the scope seams to move. i noticed Tuesday morning when i went to sight the scope in that it wasn't straight so i turned the scope in the rings and it was fine until today. it still hits where i'm aiming. btw the scope is a bsa 4x32

Yes you can adjust the GTR trigger. You can adjust the first stage and the second stage. The GTR trigger is inherently very light. Once you have it installed in your Gamo, you will FORGET the lousy trigger that came with the gun. I speak from experience and believe me when I say this that the trigger let off is SUPER crisp when adjusted properly

If you visit the web site that I gave you the link for, you will find pictures and a video that shows you how easy it is to install the GRT-III trigger. Just follow the directions step by step, and everything will work out fine.
