Marauder, Cyclone or Renagade?

In looking at the offerings in repeating pellet rifles I am reading the posts here and on other sites. A lot on the Marauder. It is new and seems to work well though has some teething problems.
I read mainly good reports on the FX Cyclone. I read little about the Evanis Renegade.

I want good power and reliable and quick follow-up shot capability. I know there are a number of other brands/models that can provide it but can't look forever without getting too dizzy & confused to make a decision.

Given what the current state of the art in PCP pellet riflesl is, any real benefit of one of the above over the others?

Random thoughts:

The Cyclone is more than double the cost of the other two. That would skip a lot of other highly-regarded shooters in the price range.

If follow up shots are a main concern, did you consider the semi-auto Monsoon?

Renegade would be the loudest of the three, but you don't mention that as a concern. The FX is quite the lightest to carry.

I only have the Marauder and would recommend it to anyone.

All other things beingequal, consider the company and retailer who will back up your purchase.I think both FX and Marauder would have an edge here, only if you need a tie-breaker.

Another advantage to the Cyclone is the 3 stage power adjuster.  Although most PCP's can be power adjusted, the FX system is the most consistent and repeatable IMO.  The Evanix would be the power house of the 3, but as already stated, they tend to be loud, and with the exception of the Blizzard, I've never heard glowing reviews of the Evanix triggers.  Come to think of it, the Blizzard S10 would be more comparable to the other two than the Renegade.  At least the basic features are similar, shrouded barrel, multi-shot, decent trigger.  One other big advantage to the Cyclone.  I got more consistent shots on less air with my Cyclone than any other PCP I've owed to date, except my S200.  But the 200 isn't nearly as powerful.  Personally, I'd go with the Cyclone, but then, I already told you that :-).  Later.

DaveD, thanks. I know you recommend the Cyclone and I am leaning that way. I see I mis-spelled Renegade on the post too. Should have asked about the Blizzard as it is easier to spell and, as I see from looking again, is more closely aligned with the other two than the Renegade.

Cost isn't the deciding factor here. I want a rifle that will last, work well and I am comfortable witih. Might have to get one and try it for fit and use with the idea of re-selling it if it just doesn't feel right in use.

I know there are a number of other pellet rifles in the price range but these are the ones I have come up with after looking a bit. Almost the AA 410 but the Cyclone wins out for me based on talking with a few others who have had both.  I am only guessing on the Blizzard/Renegade a I know no one who has one, only what I have read. Most will probably be more accurate than I can shoot anyway but it is nice to know the precision is there even if I am not steady enough to take full advantage of it. Just might have a good day and then would see how accurate it really is whichever I end up with.

The Marauder does seem to be having some teething problems and that is pushing the other two closer to being chosen. I know if I has 0004 serial number and it was trashed by the company when I sent it in for repair I would be royally *_*_*_*_*_*ED OFF... my collector serial number gone forever.  

Anyhow, thanks for the feedback. Mainly reassuring I think at this point.

I only have 3 PCP's....all are bolt/lever action repeaters.  The Air Arms S410SL (Carbine....should've gotten the regular length one....more speed and bigger air tank) and BSA Scorpion T-10 are .22, and the FX Cyclone (From daved) is in .177.  In my limited experience with them......I'm very very happy with them.  Those companies have been into the PCP's for awhile and seem to have very good quality control and a very good product(s).  Those "foreign" PCP's cost abit more than the Crosman Marauder.  If I have a chance....I might pick up a Marauder in a few years...once they've refined/fixed up the little problems that seem to pop up occasionally.

The .22 BSA Scorpion is the most powerful.....rated at 28 to 32 ft. lb....but gives me only about 35 good shots.  No power setting though.

The .22 AA S410SL Carbine is second in power....up there with the Scopion on high power with 28 ft. lb. max....but have the least amount of shots (Small tank).  For paper punching....I use low power and can get up to 60+ shots.....but you can see the pellet arc to the target heh heh.  The regular barrelled AA's will give close to the same amount of ft. lb and speed as the Scorpion.  The AA's with power adjustments gives five levels of power.

The .177 FX Cyclone for me is the most versatile; 3 power setting; high- don't remember the numbers....but killed a crow at 54 yards, so if you get a .22, the power would be even more!!!!  Have not shot it to see how many shots out of one fill....but  it should be comparable to the Scorpion (Around 35 goodshots).....with it's huge air tube.  On low-power I can get over 80 shots with one fill.  Shot out to 30 meters....and the pellet only started to drop around the 65th shot.  Very rarely have I shot mine on mid-power....it's either high for hunting or low for paper.....but it have it's place, I've taken starlings and grackles out to 25 meters on mid-power.  One little nit-pick....their pellet clips don't have a shot indicator....so you'll need to count your shots (8 shot clip).  The AA and BSA clips have a red dot indicator to let you know you're on the last shot.

All the above mentioned PCP's are very quiet....with the AA 410 the loudest....a longer barrel would have quiet it down more.  They're very accurate....more accurate than me.  I've never seen or shot a Renegade, Blizzard S10 or Monsoon.  From what I've read....the Renegade (Kiwi have a few) would be the most powerful and loudest of anything mentioned here so far.  The Blizzard is supposed to be very quiet, accurate and gives alot of shots....I think Joe Cuz have one.  There's a member here that have a Monsoon....same characteristics as a Cyclone....don't remember if it is power adjustable....and I think it comes in .22 only (Not sure about the last part).  I think this would be the most pricey of the lot since it's semi-automatic.....just keep on pulling the trigger until the clip runs out.  Hope the above info helps you narrow your search.

My blizzard shoots 26 Gr at 910 to 895 over 20 shots string( 46 ft Lbs).  I have shot 40 rounds at 45 yds in a 2" ring (it shoots tight groups but I was  testing for consistency at fill pressures) 3000 psi fill down to 1800 psi. Like dave said in an earlier post -- Ping-Tink--Ping-Tink.  When a friend was shooting it, I was about 15 to 20 ft away, it sounded like someone poping gum, very quiet. I love the trigger, I have not even thought about adjusting it. It was perfect out of box. I love this gun, I just wish I had more time to shoot.
