For all B26 users, past and present
« on: September 24, 2009, 11:54:44 AM »
If you've owned one in the past or currently shoot one, I'm wondering who used what scope mounts?
I'm currently looking at using a 1 pc on my B26.  Of particular interest is the one from Uniflame Industries.
I'm trying to determine the room for mounting, forward and backward on the scope and the added height of the new mount.  Help!

My scope as provided by Mike Melick with my B26-2 is an Xisico 3-9 x 40 AO and I am more than happy with it.  Not sure who makes the mount, but it is a four bolt attached  one piece mount, and has not loosened since I installed it following delivery.  Ask Mike!

Did you buy yours as a rifle/scope combo?  If so, I'm guessing you have the Xisico mount.  Got any pics of your set up?

troy,.....i used a4" long   weaver rail adapter on mine along with weaver low mount1" rings. its sturdy, has absolutely no scope movement and clears the objective on my 4x16x40 centerpoint.
best of all,...the rail adapter and rings were less than a 1-pc mount.

I'm still shopping around and trying to figure out if I'm going to move rings from one gun to another.
Triry, I didn't think of the Weaver rail option.  That's a good idea also.

Hi Troy, Uniflame had two versions of the one piece mount, a four bolt pattern and a five bolt pattern, about a year ago they were very well manufactured, now theyseem to use a very cheap bolt on their models. You might have to go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy better bolts. Thebolts would shear off if I tightened them too much. Ottherwise the mount is well made for the the price. The four bolt pattern was four inches long and the five bolt pattern was five inches long. They can handle up to a 50mm objective lense with about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch clearance. Hope this helps ........Shoot Safe and Enjoy....Bill

I used the Accushot 1-pc. high mount and it has been perfect... had 3 different scopes on it but all with that mount.

:D I'm using a Leapers Bug Buster 3-9 x 32 on my MM tuned B26.  This scope is very short,  light  weight and very compact. To get the proper eye relief I use a UTG 11mm to weaver adapter.  PA part number MNT-PMTOWL (py-a-2401)  Mount it backwards (over hang facing you) then use low 1" weaver rings. Will focus down to 3 yards.  Good fun shooting bumbly bees. CHINA GUNNER

I am using the rings that came with my CenterPoint scope. I believe they are the same as the Leapers Accushot 2-piece set. They have worked well for me, although I'd prefer a 1-piece mount.
