Tune kits for b26 or b25
« on: September 25, 2009, 03:16:25 AM »
Hi,
newbie here, just wondering if 3rd party tune kits (better spring, seals etc) are available for
the b26 and b25 from BAM?

I just picked up a b26 (standard stock .177) and I was very impressed with the build quality.

Thanks,

T

The GRT kit and large Apex seal from JM will fit the B-25.

The small Apex should work on the B-26.

If you get the measurements of the spring you can check to see if the E9870 will fit.

The E9870 is a fantastic replacement spring and will normally increase fps by around 10 to 20fps on the average over a stock spring, if the seal fit is good. The bores are critical on the Bams. Tollerances are not always the same.

Mike Melick installed the E9870 spring on my B26...I love my B26 in .177...I don't own a chrony so I cant get ya' numbers with the E9870 spring setup...It's smoooooooth!

edit: I am tearing up phone books with my tuned B26, E9870 ..Very powerful..I had asked for an upgraded spring that would still shoot around same FPS... I did not want to lose power..So he recommended the E9870..I'm very, very happy with the results

Good luck
