Cutting the plastic barrel?

The accuracy of my hunter sport is really bad. I believe this is mostly caused by the barrel lacking rifling at the end. So, to fix this I have decided to chop off some 20mm from the barrel and crown it properly. Now the question is, how to do it? My first idea was to use pipe cutter for the plastic part and use hacksaw for the actual metal barrel.  Any better ways you've tried or can think of?

A hacksaws as good as anything....
I use a 115 angle grinder with a 1mm thick
cutting disc.....

Going to be hard to make the plastic pretty again. I'd cut it all with a hacksaw and mitre box and install a muzzle brake made for that barrel.

Yep, making it look good is a concern. That's why I thought of using pipe cutter for the plastic part. I don't have a lathe so muzzle brake is not an option.

you could always buy one. there is  tons of great guys here that could make you one.

You can buy a brake from Muzzlemack. I think there is one more vendor making them.

Hacksaw it was and I must say I was suprised to find a lot of metal inside. The barrel is actually a steel barrel some 14mm or so thick covered with plastic. Now the rifling goes to the barrel end and the gun started to group as it should.
