Which Gamo models use which powerplants?
« on: September 26, 2009, 12:09:31 PM »
Can anyone tell me, or point me to the info? Trying to decide between several Gamo models to possibly buy and would like to know which ones use which powerplants.

With exception of the Gamo Recon, Cadets, Hunter Extreme and 1250 Hunters all of Gamo's production "springers"air rifles all use the same powerplants. They just mix and match different stocks on ther models to make it look like they are different..:) Even the CFX is the same internal parts just with a different chamber for breech loading pellets. Hope this helps

What's up with the Nitro 17 model then? It's only 850 fps with lead ammo. Is it softer spring in the same powerplant or something else? There's also carbine sport model with 640fps, is that the cadet powerplant?
If some is good and more is better - then too much is just right.
