Well out of over dozen or so Gamo's I have now found one that has a real problem..
The last S1K I purchased is broken...
...... After I brought it home from doing a CDT Lube and Tune. I have pushed over a 1000 different pellets through it... My velocity has increased on an average of 20 fps, now that the seal is broken in and seating well. But yesterday I noticed that I am shooting low. I kept adjusting the scope for it and had it dialed all the way out in the up position and still getting low shots more and more frequent.. I check the scope and mounts and changed them out a half dozen times. Ended up putting 2 shims under back of scope. LOL, still shooting low. Now matter what I did to correct this, it was all screwed up........ lol
NOT A BENT BARREL OR DROOPER...HEHE
My answer came late in the afternoon. I callled up Bob and after telling him my problem he told me what to look at and check... I will be darn.... the barrel was not locking up tight. I never would of noticed it until he explained to me what to look for... I don't know if it can be fixed but he volunteered his services for tomorrow if I pay for the greasy spoon next time... hehe.
CDT told me he had only run into this problem a couple times out of all the hundreds of Gamo's he has done. I will probably have to go in the house while he fixes it, if he can cause he don't want to give up his secrets... hehe
Well first thing I thought about was Dave and his CFX.. and all the problems he had. This drove me nuts for two days, but Dave messed around with his CFX for a month or two. I am surprised he is still in his right mind.. lol
So tomorrow I will find out if this gun can be fixed or just used for parts.. Oh my my, and I was just falling in love with it... hehe
