The Health Care Lie.
« on: October 04, 2009, 03:21:08 AM »
Just a few comments on the current attempt to subjugate the Citizens of the United States.
The Adminstration  in D.C. has been playing every card that is up thier sleeve inorder to ram through legislation to sieze control of the Health Care in this country.  They place blame on whom ever they feel they need to achieve thier goal.   But what is reality?    They accuse Doctors , Hospitals and Insurance Companies of either gouging or outright stealling from patients.

However, not one time have they mentioned the costs involved in operating a  modern Hospital  a clinic or even a Doctor's office.   A modern Hospital is a city unto it's self.   Much more complicated than a luxery resort.

A hospital has expenses that many people do not think about.    Lawns need to be  cut .  Windows cleaned. Constant painting.  Roof repairs.  Heating and air-conditioning.  Parking lot maintenance.  Sidewalks .   Lunchrooms.  Pharmacies.  Floors vacuumed and mopped.   Laundry.  Trash hauled.   Clerical workers.  Cost of needed supplies.  Various equipment.     Almost all of this and more applies to Doctor's offices.

The people that perform these duties and services do not send bills to the patients,  they are paid out of the money recieved by the Hospitals and the Doctor' offices.  Not every cent goes into the pockets of the rich and evil Doctor's.

The type of reform that is being presented by Washington would work if you/we are will to have much de-graded health care experience.  How about waiting rooms with no heat or airconditioning.  Leaking roofs.  Dirty floors.  Walking long distances due to no parking areas.  Dirty linens,  no bandages.  ???

What is really disturbing is that the Senators and the Congressmen are so willing to give the Citizens of this country a Health Care system that they themselves will not suffer with.
They have the best health care program there is and they intend to keep it.  But want us to have crumbs.   They want the cake....we can have the crumbs.  Sounds familiar does it not???

The real needed reform that the system needs,  the framers of this " reform" will not even discuss.   Which would be to remove persons from the system that should not be in the system.

I personally know of an individual from another country that has succeded in having his relatives obtain health care benefits from this country that they have never contributed to.  What is really sorry is that they are quite wealthy and could easily pay for health care from thier own pockets.  Another issue is the illegals that flood the emergency rooms and never pay.  And they do not get 2nd rate care.  They get 1st rate care and even interpretures are provided.
Gentleman of Fortune.

Hum-bug!
