Well,,,, to those that have met me & Pops Buddy Ernie,, you know he is a one of a kind special kinda guy!!I gots Yer 1250 stock stripped/re shaped & even added a walnut grip ext to it. Ernie. Im not going any further on it,, it wont be done by this weekend when I show up there. Reason?? Im bringing my tools with me & I need for you to put Yer "Meat Hooks" on the grip so I can shape it to fit you just right!! I know you want a certain shape,,,,, We will get her done for Ya Buddy!! I will shape "Meat Hook" grooves just for you Buddy!! To those that dont know me Buddy Ernie,,,,, he is a natural shooter & I have watched him off hand put head shots on Nutters from 40 yards on more than one occasion with that BEAST 1250!! Bring your "Meat Hooks" Ernie,,,, I will bring a BIG pencil & sanders!!See Ya this weekend My Friend,,,, Tim. Yours is the one with the checkering on the fore arm,,,,, may I suggest I sand that off??????

That second stock from the bottom is gorgeous. Is that tung oil? It looks like it. I agree about the 1250 stock. Remove the checkering and thin it out a bit. Give it a proper sporter profile. I really like that 34 stock you did. The wrist looks so good with that old sporter Mauser 98/Winchester 70 profile.
