LOL . R9's are in stock "in limited supply" at Pyramyd Air . They 've had my return for 2 weeks and no money yet . I called yesterday and politely asked , when should I expect my refund and told I was scheduled to be refunded Wednesday and it would probably  take another 3-4 days for the funds to show up in my Paypal account . WHAT !! I kept my cool and thanked the nice lady and then told her I needed the funds to purchase a R9 and that they were already in limited supply and she said that there was nothing she could do for me . I then told her ," if they sell out , I would have to buy it from another dealer , thanks again and good-bye." I  really don't think they care . So for now I'll dream .  kirby

Not sure why it would take 3-4 days for the refund to show up Dave. When I issue a refund to my customers, it's just a matter of minutes and it has cleared and I get notification that it has been processed.

Maybe for the interest.  The longer they (And other companies) keep your money....the more interest they can get out of it.  If it was just a few customers....the interest isn`t that much....but if they hold on to several dozen customers` refunds....it adds up.

That's the way I look at it too Bob. Paypal is almost instant . I'm sure this is just another way PA has of holding onto my money a few more days . kirby

I don't know how Pyramyd Air does things,



But I would tell them to apply that money to the R-9 I'm ordering right now !!!!!!



There is no reason on earth, that they can not do that ! After all, they have the money that you sent, and it's cleared the banks and all.

You should be alright . I've spent thousands of dollars with them in the past and you can't beat their pellet deals . It's when I've returned things recently is where I've had problems . I eventually get a refund , they just take their own sweet time about doing it. kirby

David,  I hope you get this resolved in a timely fashion.   However, in my experience, when a company starts being slow at  issuing  refunds it is usually because  they are experiencing  "Cash Flow" problems.   This may be a warning sign that things are over extended.

Suggest that you get your refund as quickly as possible to protect your  interests.

Mike ; I'm not worried , just disgusted with how they do business . They've done this before . They have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee , but if you use it , they punish you . I have to do business on their terms . Even Paypal and Visa are no help as they say the retailer has 30 days to refund the money , after they decide a refund is justified . I returned a scope to MidwayUSA the same day I returned the rifle . Two days after I shipped it , I received an email , it was received and should recieve a charge back on my CC the next day . My CC took 3 days to post it , but I had a credit in a week . Nothing to stop PA from doing the same . They just make folks wait . kirby

I don't know anything about PA's internal workings, so take this for what it's worth.  But the reason for a delay between refunding and paypal showing the money could be as simple as their computer systems handle things on a batch job basis.  That is, the return folks could okay things in their computer terminal for the refund on Wednesday, but the backend systems might not actually execute the refund until later.  Doing things in this manner isn't terribly unusual, so I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt.  I had a bank that did that kind of thing and it caused me to scratch my head on more than one occasion.  

Of course, it could also be that they just don't like you ;-)
