« on: October 19, 2009, 10:55:48 AM »
Hi guys I want to remove the blue black coat of the barrel of  one of my rifles. I want it in shinny aluminum metal.

Somebody knows if there is a blue black removal solution???

or what do I have to do for remove all that coat??

Please:

other than use sand paper and blue majic as I did to my RWS 48 THAT WAS HARD TO DO IT.

THANKS IN ADVANCE, GUYS.

You could use Brownell's Blue & Rust remover and some steel wool. YOu could also just use Green Scotchbrite scrub pads and a little oil. But when you strip the blueing off, the steel will RUST. Fairly quickly too unless it's sealed somehow.
