Just pushed the buttonon a Talon SS
« on: October 19, 2009, 04:13:40 PM »
I've held off on buying a new airgun long enough( 7 Months). I've been intrigued with the talon and condor. A deal came up on the classifieds that I couldn't refuse.

My question to any Talon owners- What fitting do I need to fill this with. My hose and tank assy. has a female foster fitting. Do I need a special adapter?

I suppose if your tax person is a little flexible you can write these off as a utility expense " Pest Control". Probably cheaper than a service and more fun also.  LOL

Hi Jeff, just traded my .50 for a Talon SS. The one thing it didn't come with was a DVD. Would you mind if I borrowed yours just long enough to watch and return?? I'll cover shipping both ways. Also read someone put a .25 barrel in and is developing 80+ fpe!! Seeing as how I don't have a .25 and it seems to be very easy to change out barrels, I may do it. There just wasn't enough interest in the .50 for either a shoot this summer or legal to hunt with in Mass.. This SS is wicked accurate. It may just be the most accurate I have at this time. Have to spend some more time with it. It did come with a .20 barrel that I'd like to trade for a .25 barrel, we'll see. The article went to the editor on Sunday, don't know yet if he received it all, still waiting to hear, thanks again for the pictures. Have a great day - Lee

i was looking at some old posts and i think you can add a 24 in barrel to give the ss talon a extra 20 fpe and swap back the 12 inch barrel for quiet hunting with 26 fpe

you know what after looking at a couple posts and different sites the ss talon might be my gig i wanted the triple aaa condor but lets face it money and this economy drags and more than every folks are watching there spendings i think i will get a talon ss and get the 24in barrel and have talon tunes spice it up a notch and it should be cheaper

the talon and the ciondor is the same gun except for a few details you can convert a talon ss to a condor starting with the 24 inch barrel to give it 46 fpe the stock talon has 26 fpe but this is with a .22 cal  24 inch barrel.
