I personally do not have one ( I do have a .177 Disco) but I am think an RJ high rise breech should fit.  Need power ? I recently tried one of those $8.00 22xx POWER springs in ours, with a touch of an overfill (2200psi) it shot JSB at 24.8fpe , that is in .177. I believe the fellow selling them can be reached at    hyperbotfly@yahoo.com

Ok so if I get the high riser then I will need to change the barrel band. Does he sell them also.. I looked on his site and he does not mention the Disco but only the QB's and Crosman pistola's.

The 22 XX breach,s either steel or plastic are differant than the Discovery. The allen screw is in a differant location on the Disco involving removing the bolt for acsess. Also the front of the Disco breach block is bored out to accept the "sight extension". Other than cosmetics the 22XX & disco brl bands are interchangable. Grade #3: XX brl band,, painted with obvious mold lines. Grade #2:Crosman custom shop brl. band with a slight attempt to remove mold lines slightly better in appearance. Grade #1: Discovery brl. band,, machined very smooth & nice. All interchangeable though. Triple A Grade: One made by Gene or "Mr Bob"!! Tim.

RJ breech

will fit a Disco, the newer 22xx have a differnt screw location than the older ones. Also the RJ breech is much beefier providing better support for the barrel, no band is required (maybe nice but not needed) when using his breech with a 20" barrel on a 22xx.

Gene, Don Cothran made some amazingly beautiful Crosman 22xx parts for me to have on the American Airgunner show. Stainless steel, NASA grade perfection, or aluminum if you prefer. Here is his website:
