It's raining and I am stuck having to work indoors on my own house today.   Everyone else is gone and I have about 3 projects going on at once.
If it was not for Duct Tape, and masking tape and super glue I would be up a creek.   If you can figure out how to apply it , tape and super glue is better than a helper.
I think of these items  as a hired hand that I do not have to pay or listen to.    And since I don't have anymore kids living at home, I can actually find things ( tape and such )  when I need them.

What do ya'll find to be the ' most useful ' at work items?       Besides allen wrenches.

Duct take and pistol clamps..the one ya kinda squeeze the trigger that tighten the clamp with one hand. I almost forgot the craftsman folding table that has clamping stuff build in to it.

I agree !!  I have a 5 gallon bucket  filled with  those "pistol" type clamps and the  Craftsman table you mentioned.  The table I have has had to have the wood replaced but  it's even stronger than when new.

4-way painters screwdriver, the cheap ones you can get at Home Depot.  I have dozens of screwdrivers, mostly Snap-On, longs, shorts, ratchetting, palm, etc..., but the one that stays in my junk drawer in the kitchen for quick use is the $3 4-way I bought at HD.  Next to that I'd have to say pliers and my electric drill.  Duct tape, paper clips and rubber bands end up pretty high on the list of most useful things as well.

I'd have to go with a big cast black iron pot. You know you are bound to get hungry and you can cook almost anything in one.

Magnets... I find old hard drives at work and disassemble them to get at the neodimium magnets inside. Those little things have helped me with things from just holding paper down to holding patch panels in place on my cars for weld jobs.
