F-1 Chrony
« on: October 27, 2009, 08:03:30 AM »
Pyramyd Air has the F-1 Shooting Chrony marked down to $77.92. With a 10% coupon that saves the shipping and then some.

Good deal. I believe the only thing that the Alpha chrony has over the F-1 is that is displays spread and standard deviation.

The F-1 will display spread and standard deviation with a printer, or, I believe, if you plug in a very simple remote.

I built one with some wire and a switch I had in a box of junk.  Here's all the  information you will need to get

LO
HI
Avg
ES
SD
and individual shots

Really makes the Chrony way more valuable than just a single shot indicator.

Hey, I found the original post.  By the way I used the 1/8 male stereo jack from a pair of broken ipod stereo earbud.

Thanks for the info on making a remote. Now I don't have to drag the calculator along too.
