Buell Motorcycles stops production and sales
« on: October 27, 2009, 12:08:59 PM »
As of 10/30/09. For those not familiar with the brand, they were a sport bike off shoot of Harley Davidson, sold and serviced by H-D dealerships. I owned 2 of them few years back and sold them, as my family grew bigger... Those bikes always drew my attention, as they were unique in their design and engineering (kinda like airguns) One of my dreams was to get another one some day, I guess it won't be a new one! Shame, as Buell was one of the very few US sports bike makers and quite successful in AMA Racing.

Full press release and a message from the founder, Erik Buell can be found here: http://www.buell.com/en_us/experience/news/detail.asp?news_id=1497

Another great brand bites the dust.
