All me patterns & jigs are all made up & "Timbo,s Stocks"# 001 is all inletet & ready for the FUN no brainer shaping!!She fits like a glove just as good if not better than my factory stock!! Well,, Im still working on Me new riser blocks for the adjustable cheek riser,,,,, THANKS "Mr Bob" for all the advice on that!!Soon as I get Me new Morgan butt pads delivered & get my first riser blocks made it will be FUN TIME!!!!!! The inletting is the hard part for sure,,, I cant believe I got it just right the first time!! "Timbo,s Stocks" #001 will be staying in the "Family",,, this one is going to a Dear Friend of mine here who has believed in me & has provided me with not only moral support,,, but financially as well. I thank you Buddy. Im gonna make a go of this Folks. While I have a LONG ways to go & pose no imidiate threat to the Pro Stock Builders,,,, They need to keep an eye on me!! LOL!!Timbo.

kinda has that "fred flintstone" look to it...ha!....just jerking ya chain!  Folks, i saw timmy's work last sunday and i will be the first to say its far BETTER than the factory stocks!!!  he is a master at wood trimming.  he is very "intense" when he is working that is why he doesn't answer his phone but his website will be up and running soon.....

Kinda sloppy wood joints,,, I will work on getting better!!Inletting leaves a little to be desired as well!!Factory inletting is pretty good,,,, I want better!!Timbo.

Timbo,

Absolutely awesome.  I see that your signature will be contrasting forestock wood.  Might I suggest you try one out with a Schnabel end?  You never see those and they would be absolutely perfect on a PCP stock.  And in contrasting wood they would be gorgeous.

I'd also recommend you sign each one on the barrel bed.  Might also want to number the pistol grip end with JMyr123 where yr is the year made.  Your work is so good that it would increase the value.  Not flattery just serious business talk.  You can only make limited quantities since you are one guy so you have to make the price go up by documenting or you won't be able to recover enough to pay yourself.  

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the kind words Andy my Friend!! Im way ahead of Ya Buddy,,, I plan on "Sighning" all my stocks inside the action as well as numbering them. I really did not think #001 would be a sucsess??I cant believe how nice it is turning out!! I think I may sign it: "Timbo,s Stocks" # 001 for my Buddy "CDT". Note to self: Get a wood burning kit!! LOL!! Timbo.

Timbo, Nothing like the sweet smell of wood working mixed in with gun, I sure would like to see and feel this one first hand:) You are a truly gifted and not surprised at all that it was  perfect the first time... beautiful work:) You can count on me being on your future projects list :) With out a doubt, all eyes will be on Timbo's stocks , Tony.

Nice piece of wood,  and nice inlays.   I am assuming your going to do more sanding to round off the stock.  Do you just sand that off?  Bet that will take some time.
