this gun's in perfect condition and it does exactly what mac1 claims it is supposed to do - and it does it consistently and very accurately.   852-855 fps w/ 15 gr pellets when pumped to full power - about 25 ftlbs.     i've put sheridan intermounts and an adjustable 2-7x32 pistol scope up on the barrel, but this gun has a scope rail on the bolt housing, also, making it easy to mount a scope on the rear of the action if desired.   it had a beeman ss2 mounted onto the rear.   there's no blemishes or scratches and it has the solid metal billet installed.    $285 shipped for the combo, or $250 + shipping for gun only.    email me for photos and details.     - paul d self in ft.worth .

i don't think mac1 does the conversion for many .177's.   i wanted one, too, but they explained that more power and air flows through for the .20 and .22 cals.    you can see this school of though illustrated well in all of the benjamin discovery data (our take - velocity results) on the sharp shooter's website.   - paul.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will just keep putting my pennies together for a new .177 marauder. :)

the pcp guns work on the same principle as the pump-up pnuematics.    study the velocity test results on that straight shooters website on the marauder.   i'm a die-hard for .177, myself.   i got a discovery cheap because the guy wanted a .22 cal because the .177 wouldn't stay accurate in wind swirls.    after about a week, i oredered the parts needed to convert mine to .22 cal.   the disco is more versitile that the marauder and the .177 velocity is better in the disco.   you'll need an ldc or a shroud.     the disco operates around 2000 psi and the marauder at 2500 psi - you'll really appreciate the disco more if you're using a footpump.
