there's a guy going by micheal gabriel   w/ the email   mccollin002@gmail.com  who sent me a fraudulent check.    i told him that the police were given all the info and they came a nd got a record of our emails to each other.   he was trying to buy the steroid benji i am selling.   he must be hard headed because now he's he trying to buy the walther talon mag i have listed.   this dude doesn't have an american accent - he called my phone.    so heads up, gentlemen !!   it's now open season on this infidel.     - paul.

It never advanced to the level of a bad check with me, but this guy is on the Yellow BOI with some bad press.  Non-payment, non-delivery, and watch for aliases as well.  He emailed me about the guns I had for sale, but after checking him out on the Yellow I called the deal off.  For some reason he doesn't have anything good to say about the Yellow Forum BOI :-).

I just occurred to me that some of you may not know what the BOI is, so here's a link that should take you straight there: http://www.network54.com/Forum/406412/  It's a searchable data base of feedback on transactions.  What makes it different from ours is that there is a LOT of info there.  Search my name, for example, and you'll see that everyone thinks I'm a really cool guy :-).  It's a very useful tool, and is well worth the time to use it.  Later.

Sending a bad check across state lines I believe is also a federal crime.  I hope his state attorney charges this guy.

Paul you need to follow up with the Police, and ask what detective is working the case.  If you don't get answers or you feel they are not paying any attention to this, report it to your county's District Attorney.

He contacted me too, repeatedly.  Based on the structure of his emails, the purpose of his requests and his refusal to contact me by phone were the reasons that I didn't give him any information.  Re: His pay-by-check scam (which is not new), I clearly state in my ads that I only take PayPal or USPS MO's.   However, he still continues to send emails to me whenever I re-list the same gun that I have been trying to sell. Yes, it is a SCAM!

he may not be from out here cause just last few months ago the africans were into this scam straight from there country .he doesnt care cause he might be using a address he ralely goes to that might be abandon if it from the u.s and why airguns .he must be a kid with no sense or a idiot with wanting to end up in jail .at least we r not dumb to send him anything and if we do he should be traped thats the only way the authorities will capture him .i would set him up to pick up his package then catch him with the empty box with his info.just my 2 cents that will work ,but if hes reading this he will now be aware .......we all will be carefull and i thank u for the heads up....jorge lopez nys....

Thanx for taking the time to post this up!  There should be a thread of where everyone post up problems with PEOPLE!    This is another reason I don't sell things online.  I use craigslist and sell in person!
