I purchased a pair of refurbished Air hawks from Cabalas a month or so ago. Due to limited time I was not able to put a lot of pellets thru but one of the guns. I have no problems with it and can get a tight grouping. Rifle number two presents a problem, it has a very light trigger. I thought that after I put a hundred or so shots thru it that it might get better, NOPE. Still kind of scary, very light, almost hair trigger. Is there anything that I can do from my end to correct that or do I need to send it out to someone to be tuned and a new trigger put in. I thought about trying to install another trigger. I was somewhat intimidated but after looking at several sights where users rebuilt their own trigger I think that I can do it. I would need a spring compressor so the question comes up as to where I can buy one. I read on this sight , I believe, where users built their own. If they are not too expensive I would rather buy one and use my time and energy rebuilding the Air Hawk. If I screw it up I guess that I could use it to stir charcoal in the smoker when cooking ribs.
Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,, Ben
