My new home made Spring Compressor
« on: March 16, 2007, 04:57:43 PM »
Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of the spring compressor I made the other day using  the plans listed on the Kermit Airgun club site.  Was pretty straight forward and I was happy with the results.

Jeff, that look's just like mine, except I have a black C- clamp. I thought about camo painting it as I do a lot but was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find it afterward's hehe. Nice job buddy, were still waiting on Gene's. Just take some wood off the house Gene, the wife won't notice hehe.Ed

Looks great Jeff! I've got to find time to make one to get the S1K together. Haven't decided to do wood or metal, make a jig to use in my press or what. Question: Does the end of the barrel, or the forward part of the breech block, go against the stop block? From all the different styles I've seen, I can't tell.

I just know this is the place to be! I wear New Balance shoes, too. (Actually, In my old age I'm just too cheap to spend a fortune on the big names, cuts into my pellet money, plus they're comfortable!)

Thanks Ric,

End of the barrel goes against the stop block.

I got the blueprints for the compressor off the Kermit Airgun Site.
