i'm selling my .22 cal. walther talon magnum w/ hawke scope mounted on it.    i've installed a macarri piston seal and lubed it well.   i've stuffed the hollow stock.   i've lightened the trigger pull to about 3 lbs.   it shoot very hard - about 930 fps w/ 15 grain pellets.    it's accurate, and the scope has held true for several cans of pellets.    it's a great hunter and w/ nearly 27 ftlbs, it'll take medium sized game and pests.   check out the photos here and ask questions on this and other guns you'll see there.     http://www.raneair.webs.com .        thanx.     - paul d self in ft.worth, texas.

Is this the same one you were selling about a week ago? Older model with a "R" stamped on the stock?

yes.  someone claimed it but had to back out.

how loud is the gun?

it's about as loud as an old RWS model 36 (or model 34).    i've lubed it when i installed the macarri piston seal.   the hollow stock was stuffed holofil stuffing from a pillow and that absorbs a lot of the noise.

hmm that doesnt really help me lol, is it back yard friendly? and stock issues? (ive heard they crack wjere the 2 screws are)

it's quieter than most guns.    i lubed it and putting that macarri seal in it helped the noise and velocity.    it's backyard friendly.    it shoots almost 27 ftlbs.    i hope you either have a big backyard, or some really thick squirrels.   what other airguns do you have now ??    maybe i can compare it something else you have so you'll have a better picture of what this thing does.    - paul.

right now i only have a 22 cal. rws 350 mag. and a gamo viper

the walther talon mag is somewhat comparable to the rws 350, but the velocity is a bit more.   the 350 shoots about 24 ftlbs - max, and the beastie (my gun) shoots almost 27 ftlbs.  the accuracy is about the same on both.  the recoil is more on the beastie - i'm desiring to put a wooden stock on it.   that plastic just isn't a good idea around any hatsan arms guns - powerline 1000, winchester 1000, walther talon mag / falcon hunter.    i've stuffed the stock and it helps a lot.   i lubed and tarred the spring and i put that macarri red piston seal in it - and that smoothed it out drastically - and bumped up the velocity. .........but the rws 350 costs twice as much.    hatsan makes some great wood stocks - i just we could get "hatsan" products over here from turkey w/out someone else putting their name on them.    they make the webleys i sell there also - and they have wonderful wood work.    i'm thinking of pulling the beastie off the "for sale" list.

the thing is, does the gun destroy scopes? thats the only thing im worried about

that's why i was selling it w/ the heavy duty one-piece mount and the hawke scope.    the hawke scope on it has held up just fine.    it will shred cenerpoints and leapers scopes.
