Disco Ready For The SC Fun Shootin In Charleston....:)
« on: November 05, 2009, 03:01:56 PM »

Today Bob and I got together and he helped me make the mods I wanted on my new Disco. This weekend I will be putting her through her paces. Roughed out a nice muzzle brake for her this afternoon after I got back from running all over SC..:) The trigger has been vastly improved but Bob says we are gonna make them even better..:) Bob made a quick trip to his parts shelves and come back with a hand full of parts.. Almost like going to Lowe's..:) Spring, screws, and all kinds of little parts were layed out on his bench. He got out the old calipers and slide rule and started calculating all kinds of stuff.. Way beyond my math education..:) But he laid out the pieces he needed and started to modify the parts. Next thing you know I have a 1lb trigger on my Disco..:) Then he did his trick on the power adjuster and wipped out a couple pieces on his lathe. For almost an hour he worked on these little parts until they were all ready for re- installation.

What I have seen so far with the Disco is there are many thingsone can do to improve power curve and trigger load. Just amazing..:)

Actually Jim it is one of the new modle BSA's, 4-12X40 AO side wheel. Not to impressed with it because of the long eye relief. It does have pretty clear glass. That is a sun shade on the end of it..:)
