that is the way to go. I got a csi .22 whisper with a gasram and an adjustable trigger, and it is the most pleasurable rifle to shoot. the report is muted (no twang), the trigger super predictable, and it shoots the RWS hobbies at 800 FPS all day long. It has taken squirrels and crows at 45 yards with no prblem. get a decent scope, the original gamo sucks, so a leapers 3-9x32 sits at the throne. I absolutely love mine. And i am sure you'll love yours...

For my new .22 Whisper I'm planning to rig up a spot light to the dovetail end of a spare scope ring I have, then mount the ring on the scope. The Varmint Hunter set up is cool though, but I don't quite have the cash for a new scope just yet.

I told my folks I wouldn't need another gun after this Whisper... then I gave them a list of all the cool things I could do to upgrade the Whisper, and by the time I got to the end of the list, I was already thinking about getting a new RWS rifle because its German, and the Germans always make good stuff...It never ends does it?
