Congrats on the new purchase Gene.  Yep, that's the first thing I noticed about the Katana....the ugly trigger guard!!!  Then I noticed the beautiful stock......Crosman is finally catching up or trying to, to the Euro/U.K airguns.  The Marauder and Katana stocks look great.....I  find the Discovery's to be abit plain.  Anxiously waiting for your review on the Katana with it's CHOKED barrel.....I missed that part also.

Actually I'd really like to see them offer it in .177

I already have the Marauder in .22 and it's so darn accurate and deadly on small game I certainly don't need to buy another .22 PCP to hunt with,,, but I wouldn't mind having another .177 hunter with a choked barrel  :)

Curious how it's only offered in .22

Well Jeff, I am sure it is all in the marketing. If Pyramid see's that this is a go then they may start offering it in a .177.

Pyramid just recently started offering the new H&N pellets and sent me a flyer on them. The next day I put my order in and immediatly got a backorder email from them. I bet the did not even have them ordered yet. Just putting out feelers to see how many folks would actually order them..:)  Maybe I will get them next month..:)

THAT KATANA LOOKS GREAT.

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT IS A DISCOVERY .22 MODIFIED WITH THE MARAUDER STOCK THAT IS MORE

STYLISH THAN THE ORIGINAL DISCOVERY

ENJOY YOUR NEW TOY, GENE,  WHEN IT ARRIVES!!!

Gene, I can't wait to hear your take on the Katana. Personally, I like the looks of it, except for the trigger guard. I wonder if a Marauder trigger guard would fit it? Guess I need to sell a powder burner and get one.
I'm thinking, install Disco sights on it. Almost makes me want to sell the B50.
