Thanks to ALL of my GTA FAMILY for all the ever so kind words!!

I just want to take a moment to clarfiy a few things here. First off,,, I have edited my original post where I was so exited I stated I could duplicate a stock with my new machine in a matter of "Minutes",,, I meant hours. I have also made statements before about shooting minute of angle,, when in fact the truth is I am lucky to shoot minute of hour!!

LOL!! About my new duplicator machine: This is not a CNC machine. It still requiers "Hands On" thru out the whole process. One slip & you just ruined a VERY expensive chunk of wood!! Those of you with experience with high speed routers know what Im talking about. I am still not covinced that my new duplicator is the right tool for precise inletting. IMO other tools are better for that. Precise inletting is the most important part to building a good stock. This requires SEVERAL differant tools/jigs/patters ect. Then,,, if you want to do it right,,,, it can take several days if not weeks to shape a blank by hand to end up with one worth duplicating. Trust me,,, I cant tell Ya the time I have invested in the Ambi Marauder stock Im shaping now & am NO where near done with it!! When I get it done,,, I will then mount it in my duplicator & copy the outer shape. When it comes out of the machine it will look pretty nice,, (I have seen this process before). However,,, it will be rough shaped at best. You can then count on spending a tremendous amount of time hand sanding to refine all the crisp lines you took two weeks to shape on the original. Im not tryin ta discourage anyone,,,, Im just saying,,,, when the stock comes out of the machine with a 60 grit finish at best,,, thats a LONG ways off from rubbing it down with your favorite oil finish!!

Tommy,,,, I got Ya covered Bro,,,, Been learnin some secrets!!

Thanks again for all the kind words & support Folks,,,,,, Tim.
