One day, I would love to get drill press/mill and a lathe.  But that will have to wait for now.  It is going to take more free time than I now have to really learn how to use them and put them to good use.

Hey Tommy,

I would get them now, or at least get the Drill Press, because when you have the money, you don't have the time. And when you have the time, you may not have the money !

There's not much to learn about a drill press, I have used mine for minor milling and wood routing, even as a very small vertical lathe on soft materials.

Just my take on life :-)

TCUPS,

My man cave is my basement.  My wife never goes down there except to walk out to the garage.  The kids might hang out to practice piano or play wii but in general it is my own sanctuary.  I guess the cool part is that it is where I stash the guns and where I get in my 10 yard shooting.  So here's a picture of my hidden range and a secret closet to hide the most used dozen rifles.  I can also shoot across the basement into the storage room that gives me 15 yards.
