If you are seriously interested in a PCP, I would suggest starting with a Discovery. Made in either a .177 or .22. Low air fill and allot of shots between pumping if you decide on a pump. The Discovery is about the cheapest PCP you can purchase to date. I think Pyramid sells them for under $300.00 now without the pump.
Most of us here started with springers and have graduated to the PCP's..:) But it does not matter where you start but just having fun is the best part. Lots of relaxing hours spent shooting at targets etc..
