Gamo Silver Shadow
« on: November 19, 2009, 06:38:48 AM »
Hi:
Did anyone notice in the Natches on line flyer that they have Gamo Silver Shadows for $69.95!  I don't think it metioned remanufactured but check it out if you are interested.  Someone posted a link to the flyer recently on one of the forums - it's mostly scopes but go back a bit and there are some deals on Airguns as well.

Only thing I saw was a refurb Silver Shadow for $133 but is out of stock. That's in the regular monthly E-Flyer. There are no SS in the Closeout E-Flyer

I could not find it, even using their search function.
That's a good deal, plus the "silver" models are even harder to find.

OOPS   Sorry, my old eyes couldn't make out the fine print.  I thought (optomist) that it was $69.95.     But hey....... $89.95 for a Silver Shadow with scope aint bad.

I have far too much time on my hands.

Cheers,
Fatman

Don't get your hopes up. This was posted a couple of weeks back. When called, Natchez could not find it. Must have been a flyer error. It's the closeout, right? If they are, indeed, available, I would snatch one up!

Hi RedFeather:

See the above post with the link.  Tryoredering  it online.  Often when you phone in the Customer Service Reps. havn't got a clue whats in the flyer or on line.  The online gambit is  worth a try if you are interested.  Nothing ventured nothing gained (optimist here).

I have far too much time on my hands.

Cheers

Would that it were on sale. When you hit the link in the flyer, it says no such item. The combo currently sells for $189.95, or $100 more and the item code is almost the same but not quite. Best bet would be to see if you can get someone there to honor the flyer.

Guys....this"special/closeout" has been going on for months and months. I know because I've been looking at it for months, every time their flyer comes out. Each and every time(for months)I click onthe link from the flyer, it always comes up the same...no such item. Like RED said, I think someone should call 'em and see if they'll stand behind their flyer. If anything, maybe they'll get that outta there so it will stop stirring us up fer nuthin!!! I would do it...but the wife is ready to eject me because of all my airguns.

What if we just say "To heck with it - just don't give me the (crummy) scope and mounts." ;-)

I set them an email to hear if they will honor the listing.  Will post what they say if I get a reply.

Good show! If they know there is a hard core of enthusiasts who want these, maybe they will accomodate us. Considering that these are probably old stock, you would think they would want to move them. Doubt that Gamo is still making this model. Maybe a final clean up run of Shadows with the old barrels plated silver.
