I FINALLY got around to playin round wiff Me new machine today,,,,,,, made a Spanish Cedar dowell rod!!LOL!! Still working on setting up N such,,, even practiced a Lil bit on a scrap pc of 2X6!! I gotta tell Ya Folks,,, having the machine is only about 10 % of it,,,,, still takes a TON of other tools & experience before you can even mount up a stock!! WORD!!I got ALOT of setting up to do still but just HAD to play round some today!! NEVER in my life have I been so fixated on a project. Like I said before,,,, Im pretty sure the "Cops" are commin cause this is DEFINATLY more FUN than the law allows!!Thanks again "Mr Bob" for making my Dreams come true Buddy!! Tim.

Nice dowel you made!  Just kidding.  I'm fascinated by the duplicator.  I can see what you mean about having more fun than you should be allowed.  You still have you clothes on right?  LOL

I just may need to make a run to Charleston just to see how that thing works. I'll bet making a few wood chips and a little dust might be fun. Maybe I could make some round sticks for something...lol... Just keep on keepin' on Timmy.

Ya KNOW you are WELCOME any time Bob!!Slinnging sawdust from the machine is simple. It is the HOURS of setting up the blank & item to be duplicated that is tough. The machine can cut to very tight tolorances for sure. Ya better make sure you have your head & tail stock pcs EXACT,,,, otherwise you are getting ready to off center cut a $100 Walnut blank that will make REALLY nice firewood!!I think I am gonna have to find a machinest that can make me some headstock "Pads"!! LOL!! Tim.
