battery charger

OK, if you guys are not using rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries, you should be.

The AA's and AAA's are great. Sanyo Eneloop is the brand. They hold charge for a year or more and have a lot of power, can handle huge discharge rates.
the best place to get batteries is Thomas Distributing or Battery Junction.

But the bargain is for a battery charger, which you will also need. It's $24.95 with free shipping if your order is over $25 (and you would have to add something to get there)

Today (Friday 23th only).

Tommy, yours is on the way.

Comment on my own post - if you are a Costco member,  look for the Duracell "Rechargeable Pre-charged" battery pack, Costco SKU 437287. This is a package with eight AA's and two AAA's. The package is a clear clamsheel, take a look at the insulator around the positive terminal. If it's white, these are almost certainly private labeled Sanyo Eneloop batteries. The price is $18.49 with a current coupon for $5 off.  Great batteries at a great price.
