Clicked on a new QB78 Deluxe from Archer Airguns last week and the waiting is killing me!
I guess I am so used to instant gratification that I don't remember what is was like before we down loaded everything.
There are 3 squirrels out back almost every day and I am holding off putting them in the freezer until the QB78 gets here.

ron,...definitely worth the wait ! my son ryan has an mm tuned qb78 deluxe in .177 that he just loves. at 10m he can consistently hit an asperin glued to our backstop. i think youre gonna like it !

I have gone through literally dozens of rifles during my lifetime, I don't know why I am so anxious over this one, but I am really looking forward to shooting it.

I have a "MM" tuned 78 Deluxe in .177 and .22 and they are both tack drivers  !!

I sometimes still wish I had my old QB-79 back. Loved it when it was warm and I could shoot it. Maybe this spring I will spring for another one and bling it up like my last one.

Gene, you need to get another 79 and instead of using co2, put on an hpa tank and fill it from your scuba.  You would be amazed at "the poor man's pcp!"  With your's and Charlie's mods, you would have a squirrel magnet, not to mention the funnest gun to play with there ever was.  I am so glad that one of my first adult airguns was a Melick QB.  When the stem seal went out and with Mike's help and encouragement, I began the learning process of how great these simple guns could be.  I know that you already know all about them, but if you ever put the hpa on the 79 your backyard plinker will be born!

Hey Joe, I know the feeling. I have often read Ribbinstone's post on all his beautiful QB's. I do not think Rib has left any combination of CO2, HPA or any other type of system out of his collection. One thing is that I never indulged into messing with them myself. CDT always did the mods if any were to be done.

My Crosman Discovery is almost like owning a QB. They are light wt. and a blast to shoot. Have fun and enjoy buddy..
