Last year, I bought the new Air Force diopter rear sight for my S200, for indoor 10M shooting over the winter. Outstanding unit, couldn't be happier with it. But because the matching front sight wasn't available yet, I was using a Daisy front sight. Fast forward to this summer, I'm still waiting for PA to get the front sight in stock. I finally lose patience and email Air Force about it. Turns out I was able to order one direct from Air Force. And BTW, PA still doesn't have them in stock. Anyway, I've had this thing sitting here all summer, waiting for me to turn the S200 back into a 10M rifle. I finally installed it tonight, and I REALLY DON'T like it! I don't like the weight or the look.
Truth be told, I've mounted it but not taken a shot with it, and I really don't want to. It just doesn't feel right, and that would be a constant distraction, something that never improves my shooting. So is there anyone out there that has a match type front sight they'd like to trade? One of the replaceable insert front sights from a Beeman or Diana would do fine, even if I have to order the inserts myself. It needs to fit an 11mm/ 3/8" dovetail. If not interested in trading, I'll buy. Thanks, people.
